The Most Cheerful Version of Ourselves

Let’s be 8 again.

Why eight?

-It’s the age when we eagerly seek fun, new friendships, and novel experiences.

-We invent fresh ideas and new methods of doing things.

-At 8, we’re young enough to embrace the world with wonder, yet old enough to avoid serious harm.

-It’s also the age that Sara Blakely, the Founder of Spanx (a women’s brand valued above $1billion when she sold it) credits with inspiring her business mindset, as she recollected in her recent post.

Do you dare to be 8 again?…

Regardless of whether your childhood was filled with sunshine or rain, children embrace each day anew. They are perpetually in a state of discovery, always curious. The fatigue from the previous day doesn’t drag them down; they’re too excited for the new dawn.

However, here’s an unwavering truth: every day is as unique and precious as the one we experienced in our youth. Yet, as adults, we often get ensnared in the past, replaying old tapes in our minds. In essence, children have a firmer grasp on life’s meaning. For them, every day is a blank canvas, a fresh opportunity to explore, learn, and flourish.
